B.Ed.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a postgraduate course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The B.Ed. degree is mandatory for teaching at the secondary (classes 9 and 10) and higher secondary (10+2 or classes 11 and 12). While students from the Arts stream are trained to teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography, and languages, the students from the Science stream are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, & Biology and students from commerce are trained for subjects like accounts, book-keeping, business management, etc.
ADMISSION CRITERIA & PROCEDURE
To be eligible to get admission in this course students should have scored minimum 50% marks for General Category in their graduation & 45% marks for ST, SC & OBC, also should get to the merit list of P.T.E.T. exam conducted by the Government of Rajasthan.
On the basis of merit list, the Govt. gives you an opportunity to be a part of Chanakya Family. Once on our list, you have to come to the campus for further procedures like filling up the form, brief of the academic & non-academic calendar & for submission

THE TWO YEAR JOURNEY
The two year journey is based on a lot of knowledge & experiences through academic as well as practical knowledge for your holistic development making you globally competent.
The curricular area has 3 components –
I. Tasks & Assignments that run through all the courses as indicated in the syllabus.
II. School Internship
III. Courses on enhancing professional capacities (EPC)
The entire programme revolves around the aim to create & develop the most competitive teachers responsible to shape the future of our country and this is done through various approaches such as case studies, group presentations, projects discussion on national & international journals, observation & interaction with each other, teachers & other communities & a sense of giving back to the society in the form of social work.
